ELECTIONS I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support in the recent Local Government elections. I was successful in re-election, securing nearly 71% of the vote. I wish both Richard Hall and Robyn Walsh (the other candidates) well in their future endeavours. Open Street Events In September Council adopted a simplified process to help make it easier for our community to have open street events. Examples of open street events include:
• Christmas parties
• Halloween trick or treating
• Neighbourhood street parties

Candidate Forum
Thank you to Bayswater Collective and The Morley Momentum for hosting last night’s candidate forum at the Morley Noranda Recreation Club.

Local Government elections will be upon us again later this year, and I come to the end of my term serving our community as one of your elected representatives. The last four years have shown me what is possible with Council and community working together.
