Enjoying your City
Summer is a superb time of the year to enjoy the City of Bayswater with a plethora of parks and gardens beckoning you to get out and enjoy our Garden City.
As Chairperson of the Events Committee I'm looking forward to the fabulous events coming up in the summer season across the city.
We had a great response to our Jazz in the Park concert at Houghton Park last weekend with more than 1,000 people turning up to enjoy the Carrie Leotta Ensemble and dance the night away under the stars.
Our next event is the Moonlight Markets and Family Sundowner on Saturday, February 4 where Grand Promenade Reserve in Bedford will come alive with market stalls and family fun.
We also have Movies by Twilight to look forward to on March 4 at the Robert Thompson Reserve when we will screen The Good Dinosaur.
