I am delighted to announce the City of Bayswater was recently recognised as a Gold Waterwise Council at an event hosted by the Hon Minister for Water Dave Kelly MLA. The award recognises the City's ongoing innovation and leadership in embedding waterwise principles into its operations and a whole of water cycle approach to sustainable water management. Councillor Column - Conserving water over winter
The City of Bayswater is recognised by the Water Corporation as a 'Gold Waterwise' Council for our water quality and conservation practices. So over the winter to maintain this status we'll be working to further minimise our water use. However, to keep our irrigation systems in good condition, which reduces leaks and the potential for wasting water, the City will occasionally test the systems in our parks and reserves.
