Maylands Public Toilet After nine long years, we will be getting a new public toilet in Maylands town centre. Whilst not the best location overall, it is the best location that is available for use. The ideal location is at the Maylands Train Station and is one that Lisa Baker MLA, myself, the Maylands Business Association and The City of Bayswater have been requesting from the PTA for many many years. Very pleased to say that the following motion passed unanimously at Council last night;
"That the City explores options with the Public Transport Authority (PTA) to share a public toilet facility at the Maylands Train Station site with PTA patrons and the Maylands Community, and report back to Council by May 2016 on the PTA's feedback and associated costs. Options to be explored are to include a stand-alone self-cleaning toilet, modifications to the existing toilet facility
