Community Grants Program Applications are now open for the 'Better Bayswater Grant' which is targeted at community activities or projects aimed at making Bayswater better. Waterwise On Tuesday 1 May the City of Bayswater received Gold recognition for its efforts as a Waterwise Council. The award is given to councils for demonstrating 10 actions across all water sensitive city goal areas. Trees on Private Property and Street Verges The City is inviting public comment on the draft policy and scheme amendment in relation to trees on private property and the street verge. The purpose of the draft policy and scheme amendment is to integrate trees into new developments and to combat the loss of trees in our urban areas.
