EIGHTH AVENUE LIGHTS REPLACEMENT In response to the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Audit (undertaken by Lisa Baker, Central 55 and myself in 2015) and several requests from myself to improve the lighting along Eighth Avenue in Maylands. On Wednesday 29th of July these works finally occurred, changing the Street lighting to LED which is much brighter, more energy efficient and is far more reliable (the anticipation being that light outages will be significantly

SAFE CROSSING FOR GUILDFORD ROAD
An issue that has concerned me for some time has been the lack of accessible and safe crossing points along Guildford Road. LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS Local Government elections will be upon us again later this year, and I come to the end of my term serving our community as one of your elected representatives. The last four years have shown me what is possible with Council and community working together. It is a privilege to serve our community in this role and I am particularly proud of our Town Centre placemaking, reducing red tape, making our City more age-friendly, and recognising the value o

I’m on record for not supporting that because only around $820,000 in the Maylands POS Reserve is

Maylands Public Toilet After nine long years, we will be getting a new public toilet in Maylands town centre. Whilst not the best location overall, it is the best location that is available for use. The ideal location is at the Maylands Train Station and is one that Lisa Baker MLA, myself, the Maylands Business Association and The City of Bayswater have been requesting from the PTA for many many years. The PTA have categorically said no to a public toilet in the old Parcels O
